I believe I can fly...

It can be a real challenge to find good jumps in the dunes. Sometimes the landing is to steep or there just isn’t one at all, forcing the rider to land flat, which can take a toll on both man and machine. Very often, the face of a dune jump becomes rutted out and destroyed after just a few passes. But every once in a while, you stumble across what we would consider the perfect dune jump. It has a gradual incline with a smooth take off, a long flat area on top so it’s safe in the event you come up short, and a long downhill slope to soak up the landing. Check out this video to see what we mean.

Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
