Yamaha Motor Corp., U.S.A. has selected its 2011 National Hunting and Fishing (NHF) Day sweepstakes winner.

As part of Yamaha’s ongoing support of NHF Day, the company will give a new Grizzly 450 Automatic 4×4 ATV to Adam Penton of Greeley, Colo. Penton was one of more than 26,000 people who entered in the 2011 ATV sweepstakes. As an ongoing sponsor of NHF Day, Yamaha has aggressively supported the grassroots effort by donating one of its best-selling ATV models each year as a giveaway.

The Grizzly 450 ATV, valued at $6,899, is assembled in the United States. Yamaha is currently implementing a production transfer through the end of 2013 which will result in the majority of its worldwide ATV production being based in the United States. Currently, all Yamaha 4×4 ATVs are rolling off the production line in the company’s state-of-the-art facility, Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation, in Newnan, Ga.

SSi Decals is returning as an associate sponsor of the 2012 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series. As part of its support of ATV Motocross, SSi Decals will once again sponsor the SSi Decals Holeshot Award for pro racers at all 10 rounds of the series.

10 UTVs and ATVs That Grabbed our Attention

We recently returned home from our annual trip to Indianapolis for the 2012 Dealer Expo. The event is a place to showcase the latest powersports parts and accessories, and we featured our favorite ATV and UTV products in an earlier article.

Even better than seeing a new product in a box or on a table is seeing how it fits and looks on an ATV or UTV. With camera in hand, we snapped pictures of just about every off-road machine we laid our eyes on and picked our 10 favorites.

Of course, this is an entirely subjective and somewhat arbitrary list, but we thought all 10 of these ATVs and UTVs were pretty damned cool and worth sharing. Enjoy!

Polaris, in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), gave away three special, blacked-out Ranger RZR XP 4 900s to WWP Alumni.

The Phantom 4s were presented to the three winners by representatives from the Wounded Warrior Project and Polaris. Polaris Defense surprised each winner by providing $5,000 worth of gear and accessories to outfit their new vehicles. Polaris also presented Wounded Warrior Project with $33,050 to honor the 1,322 people that entered the contest ($25 for each entrant).
