Top 10 UTVs and ATVs at Dealer Expo
We recently returned home from our annual trip to Indianapolis for the 2012 Dealer Expo. The event is a place to showcase the latest powersports parts and accessories, and we featured our favorite ATV and UTV products in an earlier article.

Even better than seeing a new product in a box or on a table is seeing how it fits and looks on an ATV or UTV. With camera in hand, we snapped pictures of just about every off-road machine we laid our eyes on and picked our 10 favorites.

Of course, this is an entirely subjective and somewhat arbitrary list, but we thought all 10 of these ATVs and UTVs were pretty damned cool and worth sharing. Enjoy!

DragonFire Racing Wildcat 1000

The DragonFire Racing booth is always a fun place to visit at Dealer Expo. Few UTV aftermarket companies offer the kind of quality we see from our friends at DFR. This year was no exception, as DFR had two machines on display with a host of goodies. We’ll focus on the Arctic Cat 1000, which was outfitted with a new Vance & Hines dual exhaust system, DFR’s own beadlock wheels, roll cage additions, gauge pod and much more.

Scorpion Precision Billet Polaris RZR 4

We dubbed this yellow and black RZR 4 the bumblebee. Found in the Scorpion helmet booth, the bumblebee is outfitted with a host of very cool accessories from Precision Billet, along with Rigid Industries LED light bar.

Warn Naked ATV

Sure, this naked ATV found in the Warn booth is missing a few key ingredients (like an engine, for example), but it sure was an attention grabber. Warn put it together to show all of the Warn products that can be outfitted to an ATV so they could easily be seen. You may think of Warn as a winch company first, but it has a whole lot more to offer for ATV and UTV enthusiasts than that.

Yokley Racing RZR XP 900

The RZR XP 900 had a big presence at the Dealer Expo and Yoshimura had no qualms about using it to showcase its new line of UTV products. This particular machine is William Yokley’s GNCC race UTV and comes outfitted in too many parts to mention. Yoshimura’s new exhaust system and DragonFire Racing’s FireBreather were our favorites.

Lucas Oil RZR XP 900 with Plow

If you’re like us, when you think of a RZR XP 900, the first thing that comes to mind is a snow plow. Or not. We’re not sure if this machine makes perfect sense, but who cares. It’s still awesome. We came across this bizarre creation in the Lucas Oil booth and absolutely loved the ridiculousness of it all. A winch and snow plow are outfitted to the front of the RZR XP and four gnarly looking mud tires are found on all four corners. A roof and LED light bar complete the package.

KFI Polaris RZR with Snow Plow

What’s with the Polaris RZR’s outfitted with snow plows? KFI put this nifty RZR 800 together with a plow up front, a KFI winch in the rear, two top-mounted speakers with LED lights, and a split windshield. It’s a bit of a strange hybrid of function and fun, but you can’t argue about its wow factor.

Audio Formz Polaris Ranger

It may not win many races, but we can’t image you’ll find a louder UTV anywhere than the Polaris Ranger XP 800 we saw in the Audio Formz booth. Everything about this machine is focussed on a booming sound system, including those wild-looking whiskey barrels in the bed. Sure, it’s excessive, but it’s fun to see what is possible when you throw reason out the window.

Big Gun Can-Am Commander

We didn’t see that many Can-Am Commander’s at this year’s Dealer Expo, which is surprising when you see how sweet this little number is. Outfitted with a Big Gun exhaust system, Beard Fuel Sport Seats, four spotlights on top of the roll cage and two more on the front bumper, you certainly won’t get lost in a crowd.

Adam McGill Hiper Wheels Honda TRX450

Check out Adam McGill’s new Honda TRX450R. McGill won’t be a part of the Warnert Racing/Can-Am GNCC team in 2012, so he’s decided to go it alone. One of his sponsors is HiPer Racing Wheels, who showed off his new race steed. McGill is a fantastic woods racer and we’re hoping he finds success as a privateer in 2012.

John Natalie Can-Am DS 450

While Adam McGill will go it alone, AMA ATV Motocross champion John Natalie will be back on his Can-Am DS 450 in 2012. We’re not entirely sure what’s new on this ATV, but it hardly matters when you’ve got that No. 1 plate. That’s all the bling you need.
