Sunset Ridge MX will host the 3rd Annual Susan G. Komen Track Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness at the 2013 Mtn. Dew ATV Motocross National Championship, sanctioned by AMA, Round 5 on Friday May 24.

Sunset Ridge MX invites all racers, spectators and sponsors to “go pink” for breast cancer awareness by adorning their clothing, gear and pits in the color pink at Round 5. As supporters head out on a 1.8 mile walk around the track, net proceeds will be given to Susan G. Koman for Breast Cancer Research. Track guides will be available to answer questions and provide a safe walk and a shuttle service will be available for those wishing to ride instead of walk.

“We are so proud that we’ve been able to make a significant contribution to the Susan G. Komen organization and its fight to eradicate breast cancer by holding this Track Walk each year at Sunset Ridge,” says Jan Pistol, event organizer. “We doubled our contribution last year by working with the generous ATV family and for that we are so thankful. It will be hard to double what was achieved last year, but our goal is certainly to do that and look forward to the support again from the ATV family.”

Pre-registration fee is $15 or $20 after May 17; tickets may be purchased at the event. Sponsorships are available for $50 and above where the sponsor name will be imprinted on participant t-shirts, programs and event recognition as well as for less than $50 the sponsor will be receive program and event recognition.
