Bizrate Insights gathers consumer data for thousands of participating online retailers via opt-in surveys for customers at the point of sale and after product delivery. This information provides valuable feedback for retailers, but Bizrate also publicly displays ratings for a variety of customer-focused metrics. The Circle of Excellence Award is provided to those retailers who earn significantly higher scores for seven major indicators:
- Overall satisfaction
- Product selection
- Ease of finding products
- Likelihood to purchase again
- Expectations of product met
- On-time delivery
- Satisfaction with customer support
In 2016, only 5.8% of eligible retailers met these stringent requirements. The Platinum Circle of Excellence Award takes this a step further and is only provided to retailers who score at least 9.0 (out of 10.0) in all seven of these indicators. These retailers – only 2.7% of retailers who choose to work with Bizrate – are the cream of the crop when it comes to an online shopping experience.
