    Jagged X Baja Sur 500

    This past weekend saw the Polaris Factory Racing Teams racing in Mexico at the Baja Sur 500 and at WORCS Round 5, in Hurricane, Utah.

    SCORE International’s Inaugural Baja Sur 500 is the second race of the 2015 SCORE racing season and was a point-to-point race from Cabo San Lucas to Loreto. Out of the nine finishers, seven were RZRs, including the winner, Jagged X’s No. 1932 RZR XP 1000 with drivers Brandon Schueler and Scott Kiger, with navigators Chad Hemmer and Justin Kerr.

      Tread Lightly! Wildcat

      The national nonprofit Tread Lightly! and its partners Bass Pro Shops and Arctic Cat have announced a new program designed to advance stewardship of the outdoors by growing Tread Lightly!’s member base. Individuals who join or renew their membership between now and September 30, 2015 will be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win an Arctic Cat 2015 Wildcat Trail XT Side-by-Side and high-value Bass Pro Shops gift cards.

      Those who join or renew their Tread Lightly! membership at higher levels can increase their chances of winning an Arctic Cat Wildcat Trail XT or a $1,000, a $500 or a $250 Bass Pro Shops gift card by receiving more entries into the drawing.

        Yamaha Viking VI Special Edition

        Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, recently donated a new Special Edition Matte Silver Viking VI Side-by-Side vehicle to the SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation. The Assembled in USA Viking VI was auctioned at a Foundation fundraiser near San Diego, raising $22,000 for the organization’s mission of supporting SEAL members’ families.

        The SEAL-Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Family Foundation is a San Diego based 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization that raises awareness and funds for special programs in direct support of the NSW families on a local, national and global scale.           Yamaha Wolverine Green

          As we wrote about in February, we are expecting Yamaha to come out with a pure Sport Side-by-Side in the relatively near future. We’ve been hunting hard for information to back up our thoughts and a recent trademark filing by Yamaha has thrown a little more fuel on the fire.

          On April 9, 2015 Yamaha trademarked the name YXZ SS. While it doesn’t seem like much, we think it could be the name of the vehicle we’ve been waiting for. Let us explain why.

            2016 Yamaha Wolverine

            Production of the new Yamaha Wolverine R-Spec Side-by-Side vehicle is in full swing this month at Yamaha’s U.S. factory in Newnan, Ga. Yamaha dealers are receiving units this month.

            The all-new Wolverine R-Spec sets a new standard in off-road capability and class-leading comfort.
