King KONG: Modded Mondays

What better name for a single seat 470 horsepower beast!

Should you feel the need to give your UTV a name, we recommend something strong and intimidating like KONG, as opposed to something meek and mild, like “Betsy” for instance. This King KONG just happens to be a single seat, center drive XP 900 powered by a turbocharged Arctic Cat Z1 motor that puts out over 470 horsepower. Owner Bart Chielens named the car after his English Bulldog who passed away shortly after building the car.

Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
