King of the Hammers is not for the faint of heart. It pushes both man and machine to the brink of insanity and anyone hoping to finish, let alone compete, had better spend as much time preparing themselves as they do their machine. The demands of the race can take a physical and psychological toll on the racers. King of the Hammers is no walk in the park as this video from last year’s event shows all to well.
Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
