Inaugural ATV race to be held at Oak Hill MX

Motowoz Performance Systems is the presenting sponsor for the inaugural 2010 Grand National Championship ATV Spring National held at Oak Hill MX in Decatur, Texas. Held Feb. 26-28, the event is open to all riders of all skill sets.

“I have known the track owners, Jeff and Dawn Oldenburg, for years and I am excited for this opportunity,” says Motowoz Owner Jim Jaworski. “Oak Hill MX is a world-class facility. Jeff and Dawn are exceptionally organized and do an excellent job of track maintenance and promoting.”

“We’ve known Jim for years through the ATV scene in Minnesota,” says Jeff Oldenburg. “We appreciate his level of commitment for this sport and know he produces quality products. It’s great to have him on board.”

Oak Hill MX is nationally recognized as one of America’s premier motocross tracks and host dozens of national and local dirt bike and ATV races annually. Oak Hill MX is no stranger to showcasing ATVs, as it hosted an AMA ATV MX National in 2007. The facility, which has new track configurations, features some of the best dirt and technical motocross sections in the business. Its close proximity to Dallas-Fort Worth is an added convenience for riders and fans.

The GNC ATV Spring National schedule includes at least 35 classes for riders of all ages (4 to 40+) and skill sets (youth, amateur and Pro-Am). All riders must register for practice and racing. Transponders and GNC membership are required to participate. Trophies will be awarded to the top seven finishers in each class. Pro payback is 200 percent overall.

Camping and on-site RV hook-ups are available and subject to fees and restrictions. For more information, visit OakHillMX.com.

“We have the best facility in the country. Oak Hill is a national-caliber motocross track. We’ve added 230 electrical and water hook-ups and this track is outstanding for spectators and racers,” says Oldenburg. “We want the top ATV racers to compete at this stand-alone national so we can see who’s the best in the country. It’s an ideal venue for top-tiered riders to compete against the best and prime themselves and their quads for the upcoming ATV nationals. We want to thank Motowoz and all the sponsors that stepped up to help make this race possible.”
