Team TechÂ’s Tiger Tail designed for towing UTVs
Building on the success of the ATV specific tow system, Team Tech Engineering Inc. (Team Tech) has introduced what it calls the first UTV or side-by-side specific tow system.
According to Team Tech, the TigerTail UT Tow System provides quick, easy, and clean self-storing action during towing and vehicle recoveries for UTV/Side by Side vehicles.
“The entry into the UTV market gives consumers a solution that is built on a solid brand reputation of performance and reliability established in the most extreme environments,” says Mike McGinnis, marketing director of Team Tech Engineering Inc. “With the rapid growth of the UTV Market in both recreational and specialty segments, consumer interest in a UTV based tow system to provide a rugged rescue and extraction solution that is quick, easy, and operator friendly came through loud and clear.”
Team Tech is also offering custom mounts for most UTVs, which consist of a receiver style attachment with a secure rear towing point. The TigerTail Tow Systems can be used for towing, extraction (single or tandem UTV arrangement), or as an anchoring point during certain winch operations. Both AT and UT tow systems exhibit similarities; however, the UT has been redesigned to handle the higher towing loads of the UTVs.
Team Tech says the TigerTail UT Tow System offers the following features:
• Quick, easy and clean self-storing rope with self-locking hook storage• Constant tension of tow rope keeps it out of the muck• Strong synthetic tow rope (12,000 lb avg break strength) with wear resistant coating • Fully serviceable, sealed and lubed retraction mechanism• Made in the USA – six month limited warranty
Team Tech offers direct sales online or through independent distributors. Interested distributors or clubs should contact Team Tech through the website or by calling Kevin at 605-370-1071.
