Nice Bike "BUT"
By Wayne Morrison (I am an Owner)Well, lets talk about my new bike. There are alot I like about this bike but I think if I had my day back I would have got a Honda. First, the good stuff. Its fast for a small bike,I stopped at 94KLM, more then fast enough for me.The ride is great. Its great in the mud.Good on fuel,you can get around ... 175klm out of a tank. The bad. Had the bike one week and sliced a tire. Replaced them with a good set of 6ply.This made a big difference on the trail.The speed is good but handling in the turns is no where the honda's. Front suspention is too soft.Can am gave up handling to ride.While on the tail shifting from high to low or changing from 2 to 4 wheel requires you to stop in order to switch. The biggest turn off I find right now is the instrumnent display. Every 50 hours the display sends a message that maintance is required.This will happen every 50 hours for as long as you own the bike. To remove this message you must go to the dealer. My dealer said they charge 30 bucks, I have heard as high as 60.Souds like a money grab to me. The display right now will not allow me any selection right now. Waitng for it to go into the shop.This is not good if that display has messed up with only 1000 klm on the bike.Read More
