CF Moto service
By Jack Owens (I am an Owner) on Aug 12, 2015I bought my CF Moto 500 on January 4, 2014. As of today August 12, 2015 I have 183 miles on it. I have had problems with it from day 1. It does not want to start, when it does start it takes about 5 minutes before it will stay running and during that time I have to keep it running at about 1/2 ... speed or it will shut down. After that time it will run ok for 1 or 2 miles then it vapor locks and it is usually 4 to 5 hours before it will crank. I bought this machine in Columbia, SC from the CF Moto dealer there. I took it back to him to get it fixed. He kept the machine almost 2 months before he called and said he had it fixed. I got it home and found he had only adjusted the idle screw. I called him back and was told that he had sold the business and that the new owner had dropped CF Moto. I then called their dealer in Myrtle Beach, SC and was told they had dropped CF Moto. I then called CF Moto's service number. After 5 or 6 calls I finally got someone to answer who referred m to someone named Dan, I think. Dan has this job because he is a BS artist. His answer was that I would have to take it to somewhere in NC to get it serviced. This dealer is about 240 miles away which means I would have to travel about 480 miles to get it serviced. It also has a recall on the fuel tank, again take it to NC. I don't mine taking it a reasonable distance but what they are asking is not reasonable. I don't know if this is a good machine because it is almost totally useless. In the summer it will run 1/10 or maybe 2/10 of a mile before it vapor locks. In the winter sometime I can go maybe 4 miles before it vapor locks. CF Moto's service department is 1 BS artist. If you have money to throw away then buy a CF Moto, if not then buy something else, I was I had. On a rating of 1 to 10 with 10 being the worst I would have to rate CF Moto with a -10.

2013 X5
By Gavin (I am an Owner) on Sep 02, 2014I bought my X5 last October and love it! I will say that parts availability and dealers for service has been an issue. The performance of the machine is incredible for the price. Most comfortable wheeler I have ever driven and the colored dash board is the best in the business. If CF Moto can ... figure out the service aspect, I would be a lifelong customer. Best value ATV period.
