		I have a 2008 Honda Rincon.  I have hear a few complaints about the automatic transmission and here is my findings after using the ATV for four years:<br /><br />

The auto transmission works as it should.  It is an automotive style transmission and works just like it should.  As for hauling loads, well, I pu<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">t it to the test one day just to see.  I loaded my ATV trailer to the top with heavy crushed rock for the test.  I drove around the gravel pit and had no problem pulling the load.  To really test the hauling power, I tried a haul up a hill and had to use 4x4 to keep from spinning.  This really tested it. I had no problem pulling the loaded trailer up the hill.  The only limiting factor would not be power, it would be traction.  If the load was too heavy, the ATV would spin its wheels before power ran out.  Its got a torqey engine.  If you don't like an automotive transmission then don't get the Honda Rincon but as for power, I have had no problems.<br />
<br />
One problem I did find was that in full auto mode the transmission likes to hunt for gears a lot.  I just switch to ESP mode and do the switching myself to solve that problem.  On my old ATV I had five gears to switch through so its no problem switching through the three gears of the Honda Rincon.<br />
<br />
The Rincon really stands out for its ride.  The IRS works really well and its the most comfortable ATV I have ever ridden.  Very nice on those long offroad trips.  Handling is excellent and steering is very easy for such a large machine.  The ATV had that Honda high quality build and reliability.  I would like to see a front differential lock and some people think a high/low range would be nice but I have had no reason to need that.  After my haul test, I believe that hauling power won't be a problem.</span>

		Just bought a 2012 Rincon in camo. This thing will go anywhere you point it. The ride is incredibly smooth, and it has tons of power for hill climbing and towing my trailer. <br /><br />
I can literally stop this thing in the middle of a climb and it will crawl up like nobodys business.<br /><br />
Wish it had power stee<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">ring but it is certainly not necessary. Also wish it came with beefier tires for the money, but all in all I wouldn't buy any other quad for what I use it for. <br />
I would recommend this atv to anyone needing a mini-tank.</span>

		I have had a 2012 Rincon for a couple months now, and it is by far the best utility quad I have had. Great power, smooth ride, awsome visual appeal. You name it, its got it. The best part is pulling your friends back home because their belt snapped. No rubber transmission here. Excellent quad!
