Best ATV Ever
By Tim Stults (I am an Owner) on Jul 29, 2015I am 17 and I bought this wheeler in January of 2013. I worked hard and saved up a lot of money to buy this expensive wheeler, previously I have had 2 Polaris' and needless to say, they sucked. Spent as Much money on a new one in repairs... Anyways, I bought the wheeler because Honda stuck out as ... ultra reliable online and by word of mouth, and to this day it has proved that. Never had a single problem at all with this wheeler, I run it hard and after 2 years I've got over 200 hours and 1933 miles on it today. Super reliable atv, great ride, handling, love the sound of that 420cc motor when I floor it (ALL THE TIME) and I've calculated mileage on it, I get around 17, with flooring it and idling a lot, don't know how good that is for an atv but seems decent to me. Can get a little over 65 miles out of a tank so.

Great for the money....
By mike (I am an Owner) on Feb 14, 2013Picked up a 2013 Rancher AT 4x4 a few months back. The first atv i actually spent good money on. I think the engine is bulletproof, and has ok power for the most part, but when going up steep hills, i felt like the quad really had to work hard to make it to the top. I'm a big guy, 300lbs., and im ... sure that had something to do with it. The ride was good, and handle was good. The engine braking downhill was excellent! I did find the automatic transmission would get stuck between gears sometimes, maybe 1-2 times every 5 riding hours. I took it to an offroad park in Indiana called haspin acres, and put this thing through hell, and the only issue was when in deep sticky mud sometimes, the trans would get locked up, and couldn't find a gear. i'd have to rock it for 5 minutes and keep restarting it, and playing with manual shift mode and finally it would find a gear and be ok. I am trading this in for a rincon bc i want a bigger quad, but the rancher at is great for the money, you cannot beat the build quality and reliability of a honda, you just can't. The guys at my local honda powersports store are great, Honda of Fairfield, in ohio. I will always be a honda atv owner, and excited to try out the new rincon.

Honda Rancher AT
By Phil Crofoot (I am an Owner) on Nov 07, 2012I studied long and hard before purchasing a new atv. Honda was the only brand I would even consider. I did look at other brands just to compare with.
The Rancher AT in my book wins hands down in all catergories.
I was dead set on an atv that had plenty of ground clearance, Independant ... rear suspension and also Fuel injection. I also wanted an automatic transmission. Well the Honda Rancher AT covered all the bases.
I could not be happier with the Rancher. If your looking for an all around atv with all the options then go test out the Rancher AT. Dont forget to take your ramps with you, because once you test drive it you"ll be loading it up in your truck to take home with you.
