    Back in April of this year, I purchased my john Deere Gator 550 S-4, Camo, based on the John Deere reputation, having second thoughts. With 18 Hrs. on the meter, the carburetor has been replaced twice,4 wheel dose not engage, my gears lock up, been told it's somethimg to do with the secondary clutch ...

    I have had a problem with the Gator since delivery related to shifting it in and out of gear from reverse.     Gator tansmission has been replaced once and is in the shop again for the same reason!!! The clutch has also been replace. I only have 44 hours on it and it is all very light ridding hours! Not happy at all with the quality of this product!!!
