for the price there is not a big diffrence in the 400 and 500,the headlights could of used a bit more protection from rocks coinfg from the tires that hit them,the air filternwhen going through watertends to get wet because of the hose located on the bottom, other than that the bike works great and ... There are some seriously questionable design flaws in the 2011 400HO. First thing i noted was the oil bucket position. Very bad spot and very vulnerable to damage.
