for the price there is not a big diffrence in the 400 and 500,the headlights could of used a bit more protection from rocks coinfg from the tires that hit them,the air filternwhen going through watertends to get wet because of the hose located on the bottom, other than that the bike works great and ... The 400 Polaris Sportsman is plenty fast ad has more than enough power for anything I have put it through.

I hunt and is does it's job with ease. Going through deep mud with a deer on the back rack is no problem.
