  • 10year long term review
By Mark King (I am an Owner) on Jul 29, 2016

Me , 39 years riding. Dirt ,street.

Pros ; bullet proof, ivebeen imbarresing poor on matinance with this machine.! It has neededNOTHING except light bulbs. Never been to the shop . Only changed the oil twice ! ( I know I know ...)

Great full economy, huge tank ,ride all day, select on ...

Goes plenty fast. Good front brakes, great engine braking, you hardly use the brakes even in the mountains .

Cons ; as you will read from others. It makes a loud bothersome clacking noise that sounds like breakup bad valve adjustment or a cam chain slapping about. Apparently it's normal and part of the auto decompression parts slapping about. It has never had any problems and if it was a defect it would have broken by now .

Rear brake is a drum and is weak .

It's oil cooled and the fan almost constantly blows and will blow heat on your left calf which you feel if you wear shorts.

Has now gauges. ( speedo fuel....) only dummy lights.

The noise is the main complaint. But it doesn't afect performance and has never given problems. If you like Ducatti you may like the noise .

4 stars because I'm hard to please and the noise is the only real negative.

Great machine. Don't know what a 800 cc would give me this thing doesn't except less fuel mileage.

Pulls like a Mack truck and goes about 45-50 ?

    Hello,
