By darren (I am an Owner)Read MoreI bought a 450 grizzly with 250 klms on it. Have owned several quads. I like some features on the yamaha but find it a bit cramped to ride on.
ride quality is average handle bars are a bit low and they did not allow any extra cable or brake line lenght to raise the bars up for those of us ... that like the bars higher.
fit and finish is good on the quad.
four wheel drive function works well
but diff lock does not always engage smoothly
rear diff axle seals leak have talked to several owners that have same problem.
engine runs smooth not as good as a honda but satisfactory
steering on the quad feels heavy to me
stability on the quad is good
the thing that yamaha missed big time was putting only one rear wheel brake on the quad that is a very frustrating feature especialy when trying to stop quicky or braking on steep hills it is realy a safety issue.
