The Ride: South of the Border MX + Video
After two rounds of racing the score is tied, Wienen – 1; Hetrick – 1. The two contenders have fought tooth and nail over the last few years with Hetrick finally overtaking Wienen for the national championship in 2017. Wienen came out swinging at round one in Daytona and Hetrick fired back at round two at South of the Border MX in Hamer, South Carolina. If the first two rounds of racing are any indication, we’re in for an exciting season of motocross racing at the ATV nationals.
Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
