Yokley Racing had a great weekend with its Ranger RZR XP 900s at the WORCS race in Washougal, Wash. National Guard Polaris Coastal DragonFire Yokley Racing Team driver William Yokley finished first in the Side-by-Side 1 Class and National Guard Polaris Coastal Yokley Racing Team driver Scott Kiger finished third in the same class.

The 45-minute Side-by-Side race began with the National Guard Polaris Ranger RZR XP 900s running fourth and fifth heading into the woods sections. Yokley overshot a turn and lost several positions, and Kiger worked his way up to second place after two laps. Kiger had a brief delay on course while Yokley had passed up to second place. On the last lap, Yokley passed for the lead going into the woods, and was able to stretch it out for his first overall WORCS win of the season. Kiger finished third, putting both National Guard machines on the podium.

Yokley’s win increased his season point lead and Kiger moved up to third in points. The next WORCS race is at Glen Helen MX Course, in Devore, Calif., September 16-18.
