We showed you a teaser in October, but it’s finally happened. Caleb Moore pulled off the world’s forst UT backflip to dirt.

Moore, who teamed up with All Terrain Research and Rockstar Energy Drink, took his Polaris RZR where none had ever gone before at the Lucas Oil Off-Road Xperience in Las Vegas, Nev. on Nov. 2, 2011.

Moore attempted the flip three times. The first time he came up short landed nose first on top of the landing ramp. On his second attempt Moore pretty much landed it, but came down fairly hard on the front wheels. It was the third attempt where the magic happened and the RZR came down on all four wheels.
