Polaris Recalls RZR XP Turbo Due To Fire Hazard

Oil drain line can leak


Polaris has issued a recall notice for its 2016 RZR XP Turbo EPS. According to the recall notice, the turbo-powered RZR’s oil drain line can leak, which poses a fire hazard.

Polaris has received two reports of RZR XP Turbos with oil leaks and two reports of the vehicles catching on fire. No injuries have been reported.

This recall affects approximately 2,230 model year 2016 Polaris RZR XP Turbo EPS models.

Owners are asked to stop using the recalled vehicles and contact their local Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair. Polaris is contacting its customers directly and sending a recall letter to each registered owner.

The recalled vehicles manufactured in Mexico and sold at Polaris dealers from September 2015 through November 2015 for about $25,000.
