In 2001, Jos Boisjoli, BRP President and CEO, set a challenge. "Give me a sport ATV with the lowest weight, lowest unsprung weight, most mass centralization and highest power, and you have yourself a project." This no compromise approach forced Can-Am engineering teams to throw out convention, and rethink everything from the frame to the front and rear suspension systems.
Six years later, the new DS 450 EFI was born. The four objectives were met, and more than half a decade of relentless dedication and passion rewarded. Now, Can-Am has taken the DS 450 EFI a step further introducing the new X package.
