I spoke with a salesman at Fast Lane Powersports, Joe, via telephone on October 26th regarding a trailer they had on their website. The trailer was listed as model number AHAFD824TA3, an American Hauler 8' x 24' wood deck tandem axle trailer. Since I would be driving 4hrs to see the trailer, I called ... to confirm it was in stock. I was told the trailer was not in stock, but that they could have one the next day. I commented that the advertisement on the web indicated it was a 2017, and if you were getting one from the factory wouldn't it be a 2018? I was told yes, it would be a 2018, but the price would be the same. I was also told that the year on the web ad should have been changed to 2018. The price on the web is $5,199.
When I went to purchase the trailer on 10/28/2017, I was told the price was $5,395. When I complained, they said they would throw in a spare tire valued at $150. The spare tire was discussed when we were looking at the trailer, and $150 was the price given (if you purchase it at the same time as the trailer). $5,199 + $150 comes to $5,349. The $5,395 price was now $46 more than it should have been. I had driven 4hrs to get there and it seemed silly to walk away over $46 for a new 2018 trailer.
It did not hit me when I was signing the paperwork that the trailer was listed as a 2017 model. In addition, the trailer I purchased was used to haul other trailers to their place of business. In affect, it was a used trailer. Not really a big deal, except the sides are scuffed up from the tie-down straps used to hold the other trailers and there are residual marks on the deck of the trailer from where the tires for one of the other trailers hauled on it were loaded.
Finally, when inspecting the trailer with the salesman prior to departure, I noticed one of the reflectors on the rear of the trailer was falling off. I pointed it out to the salesman and he indicated he would get one in the mail to me right away. He also told me he was very good about getting those things out right away. It is 01/09/2018, and I have still not received a replacement.
Bottom line: I did not receive the new 2017 trailer for the advertised price, nor did I receive the new 2018 trailer at either the promised price OR their bait and switch price. Also did not receive the replacement reflector.
If you have a choice, run, don't walk, from this dealer. I just checked their website for the trailer I purchased....IT IS STILL LISTED AT $5,199!! They clearly INTEND to deceive!!

I bought a kawasaki mule sx xc se from Tim Black at Fastlane. The machine is great and Tim was great to work with. Part of my deal was a snowplow and winch to get me set for the winter. I had some minor setbacks as they were switching from cycle country to Kolpin for aftermarket accessories. Greg ... Day stepped in and took care of the issues and made everything right. I felt very satisfied as a customer and felt they went above and beyond just the sale. I would highly recommend them as they stand behind theit products and reputation. 5 stars!
