Clymer Polaris 400, 450, 500 Sportsman 1996-2008 manual available in September

Polaris Sportsman owners who like to wrench on their quads have been given an assist by Penton Media’s Clymer, a leading publisher of do-it-yourself repair manuals.

Penton Media has just announced the addition of the new Clymer Polaris 400, 450, 500 Sportsman 1996-2008 manual to its lineup.

This manual covers the popular Polaris Sportsman 400, 450 and 500 series. It includes the following chapters:

• General information
• Troubleshooting
• Lubrication
• Maintenance and tune-up
• Engine
• Clutch and drive belt
• Transmission
• Fuel, emission and exhaust systems
• Electrical system
• Front suspension and steering
• Rear suspension and final drive
• Brakes and body

The manual also includes color wiring diagrams for all models, a quick reference section with frequently used specifications and a comprehensive table of contents and index.

According to Clymer, those with more experience will be able to use the manual to tackle more complicated procedures.

The Clymer Polaris 400, 450 and 500 Sportsman 1996-2008 manual (M365-3) will be available in September for $45.95 through dealers and bookstores or directly from the official Clymer website.
