The reasons for installing an aftermarket exhaust are numerous – you usually pick an exhaust system that makes your vehicle sound better and one that increases the performance output of your engine. For some of us, we want to make sure that we get all of the performance and longevity out of an aftermarket exhaust system without the noise commonly associated with a more open pipe system. Not only do we do this to decrease sound levels in the cab of the side-by-side, but we also do this for nature and all of our furry friends who enjoy the trails just like we do. Mother Nature likes to see that you have an exhaust that still increases power, but without the sound associated with an open pipe system.

HMF

This is where the Titan-QS series exhaust lineup comes into play in the HMF Engineering family of performance exhaust systems. Traditionally, HMF has put two mufflers on many of its side-by-side exhaust systems to increase power output and sound quality, both of which have their own outlet. While the Titan-QS series still include two mufflers in the system, the mufflers are joined together and have one outlet total, therefore decreasing overall sound output but effectively keeping the power output consistent with a traditional dual-outlet exhaust system.

With both mufflers connected, this doesn’t mean that the quality is held back. Each of these Titan-QS systems is made from 304 stainless steel construction for the ultimate durability. The longevity of the system is also there, as each can be coated with a durable ceramic coating that withstands temperatures over 1200 degrees!

HMF

The other thing that every UTV owner wants is an easy installation procedure for their accessory install, especially when we are talking about installing a slip-on or complete exhaust system. HMF includes the mounting hardware with these Titan-QS exhausts. Plus, and this could be the best feature of all, this HMF system doesn’t require a fuel controller. Not only does this mean that you have less to install overall, but you also don’t have to alter any of the fuel or computer characteristics of the stock vehicle. This should effectively increase reliability over the long haul, which decreases the opportunity for having a failure while out on the trail. And we all know how key it is to get “there and back” when out on the trail, all while looking and sounding good doing it.

The Titan-QS series by HMF Engineering is the ideal exhaust system for riders who want the ultimate performance out of their side-by-side without the increase in sound levels that you would find in an open exhaust system. The connected system of the two mufflers allows drivers to feel the increase in power without the increase and nature-disturbing sound levels. Those two combos are a win-win in our book and are available on most Polaris models including the Polaris RZR XP, Polaris RZR Turbo, Polaris RZR S, and Polaris RZR S1000.
