ITP Adds to SS Alloy Wheel Line
International Tire Products (ITP) of Ontario, Calif. had beefed up its ever-growing SS Alloy wheel line with the introduction of the new SS212.
ITP’s SS212 is a one-piece wheel and is available in three finish options. The first is a bright, diamond-cut machined wheel with black accents and topped with a tough clear coat. A very slick looking matte black and a gleaming chrome finish are available. Each wheel comes with a custom SS wheel cap.
Like ITP’s other SS Alloy wheels, the SS212 is manufactured using a high-tech Advancecast process, which the company says results in an incredibly strong and light final product. So strong, in fact, that ITP covers the SS212 with a lifetime structural warranty. If you bend or break the wheel, ITP will replace it.
The wheels are available in a 12×7 size, as well as more unique 14×6 and 14×8 sizes, designed specifically for front and rear applications, respectively.
Available for most late-model 4×4 sport/utility ATVs, the SS212 will also fit many side-by-side UTV vehicles. ITP says the 14-inch models are a great choice for UTVs, because they carry an 800-pound load rating. The 12-ich ATV models are rated at 700 pounds. Consumers can also purchase the SS Alloy line in pre-mounted tire/wheel kits, using ITP’s Mud Lite XL, Mud Lite XTR and TerraCross R/T tires.
