Great Bike
By Josh (I am an Owner) on Jul 21, 2010I switched from a 2007 Yamaha YFZ450 to the Can Am and I love it. It doesn't brake as well as the Yamaha but that can be fixed with a bigger disc. The biggest difference is in the suspension, the YFZ beat me up on the track. Even with Flex bars I was getting bad arm pump but now I can race 3 times ... as long due to the superb stock suspension on the Can Am.As soon as possible I am trading in my YFZ for a 2010 Can AM and giving my Dad his O9 back.I only had a few problems with the quad. It doesn't brake as well as the Yamaha but that can be fixed with a bigger disc. The only other thing I had a problem with is the low end power. Before I got the Motoworks S4 pipe that comes from BRP there wasn't much low end power. After I got the pipe on their and did the pink wire mod it ran like a scolded dog. Even before I got the pipe I pulled a hole shot on it at Splendora MX (Texas). I got to practice with it but broke the rear sprocket so I have not had the chance to race it yet with the upgrades but I know I will be happy.
