  • WOW!!! What a disappointment!
By David DeNicola (I am an Enthusiast) on Feb 26, 2017

I bought my 7yr old the ds90x because his cousins were ripping past him with their LT 80's, 2 strokes, and my son was on his Kawasaki 50. So I went to my local dealer and asked which 4 stoke 90 is the best and fastest quad out? The can-am DS 90X he said. Like a dumbass I took his word for it. The ...

  • An excellent beginner ATV
By Patrick (I am an Owner) on Apr 21, 2016

Very pleased with ours. One of the best things about this ATV is its ridability. The wheelbase is nearly as wide as that of an adult bike, which means two things - #1 the bike is nearly impossible to roll over, and #2 it doesn't fall off the side of the ruts that are made by adult size ATVs. The ...

We did have a cog on the drive system fail. It was relatively minor to fix, and the part was a couple bucks. In the end, I think it was because the chain had too much slack and it caused undue stress on the part after my son landed from a jump and compressed the rear suspension with the throttle pinned... like 50 times during an afternoon.

We also had a rear fender get caught in the wind (while being trailered at probably 80+ MPH) and shear off.

Otherwise, we have been extremely pleased with this bike.

since day one this ds 90x had been leaking oil from the head, smoking from the exhaust and had piston slap really bad. it sounded like a diesel. the dealer fixed the leaking but it started leaking again in 1 week. I had to do a complete top end rebuild within 7 months. Also the transmission main ...

  • can am ds 90x
By Neal (I am an Owner) on Dec 24, 2014

The worse atv I have ever seen in use. It looks great, but it is cheaply made. Had to have the starter replaced twice, spark plug replaced once, and the carburetor cleaned and put back together with less than two hours of ride time. Took it back the dealer and got a 250 instead. The repair guy ...
