  • Super happy with decision!
By Lance Field (I am an Owner) on Mar 29, 2022

My wife and I have been riding our 2-up quad (Polaris 570 Touring) with friends for several years. Can't say enough about the 570, we rode it without any issues for 6 years.

But.....our friends graduated to side by sides. One couple went with Polaris Ranger 570 and the other couple ...

After carefully considering all options, we went with the CFMOTO for price and value with factory accessories AND 2 year warranty. To get the Maverick 800 with like equipment (6 month warranty) would have cost an additional 3-4 thousand.

So....We have owned/driven the CFMOTO for almost two years, for several hundred miles. So far, it has gone wherever the Maverick has gone, no problem. The engine and transmission have performed perfectly. It handles great and has plenty of power. I also purchased a plow kit with 5 foot blade for clearing our driveway.

Note, I do remove and clean the air filter and cover every 100-150 miles.

  • Magnitude of issues
By David Gilbert (I am an Owner) on Sep 20, 2020

My wife and I wanted to get into the side by side game since we had a lot of friends that rode trails. We spent a ton of time researching, talking with dealers and people to figure out what would be the ideal unit to go with.

I'm the end we went with CFMoto due to the amount of accessories ...

Unfortunately, the first ride that we did is when the problems started. The engine began to choke for air and completely shut off. No error code would generate. The only solution shut the engine off and wait a minute. We ended up getting towed back.

The dealer couldn't solve the issue, but the air filter was completely caked in dust, and a ton of dirt got passed the filter. So we bought a new filter. Worked for a time. But the issue came coming around.

The dealer finally did something and cleaned out all the injector contacts during the units first oil change.

The problems didn't stop there. The engine has been running louder lately and recently I was going through the machine before we went out and notice oil leaking out of several areas in the block.

I cannot fathom the amount of stress and frustration this unit is giving us. There is barely 400 miles on the machine and I can't drive it until I get it back from the dealer. I can only hope it's under warranty.

My advice, shop another brand that has a history of quality machines. But I'm pretty sure we got sold on this one..
