I bought it new in 2016 I now have 3850 miles. 80% of the mileages is on trails but there is some highway use. It goes any where I want to go. If you use this on the highway get a mud and snow style tire it will last a lot longer. No problem except had to replace drive belt at 2800 miles but other ... than thst just oil changes. It is a really good quality machine that is a lot of fun. I tried almost all of the other before choosing this one and I am really glad I did.
I HAVE 2015 4 seat trees went to west Virginia to ride had a great time handling power and traction was great but the motor noise is too loud
I now have about 275 hours on my teryx. It is a wonderful ride, great lumbar support, easy to get into and out of,great performance. Fantastic storage capabilities. Everything from sand, to rock crawling, to forest and desert trails, it can handle it.
Went to dealer selling Yamaha and Kawasaki. Test drove Viking then the Teryx. Instantly chose the Teryx. Viking vibrated a lot. Too torquey for my liking. Teryx was smooth and seemed quieter. Lots of power. Yamaha makes good stuff but so does Kawasaki. I only have 220 mi. on the Teryx but like ... it more every time I ride it. I previously had a Brute Force with 9000 mi. If the Teryx serves me as well as the Brute did, I. couldn't ask for more.
