  • Never again
By Franz (I am an Owner) on Apr 27, 2014

I own a 2009 Sportsman 400. it has giving me nothing but problems and cost money every time I bring it to the Dealer for fixing. When I bought it they were friendly as hell, now they hardly acknowledge me when I go back there.

This is the biggest piece of shit I ever bought.

  • Battery problems
By Eric (I am an Owner) on Feb 07, 2014

I overly love this quad but in the winter if you do not store it on a warm place the battery will freeze. I have now had to change the battery 2 times once last winter and again this winter and the battery is not cheap at $150 a pop. It is very frustrating trying to get them out.

  • 09 sportsman 400
By Adam (I am an Enthusiast) on Feb 13, 2011

Stay far away from this. It is junk. Getting to the battery will cost you a small fortune. Unless you have alot of tools, knowledge, and patience your going to have to bring it in to a dealer to replace. Worst design EVER. To top it off the "convienent jumper cables do not work. TO jump start ...

  • Excellent Quad
By Matt (I am an Owner) on Jul 15, 2009

I bought this quad about 4 months ago and have nothing but good things to say. It has lots of power and I was surprised how well the AWD works. I have roughly 110 miles and about 4 hours on it so far. The majority of use it has is work on my property. Plenty of pulling power. It has been out ...
