52 Weeks of Off-Road Racing on Versus
Racer TV is expanding in 2011, creating a year-long program block combining coverage of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC), the ATVMX National Championship Presented by DWT, the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship Presented by Amsoil from Loretta Lynn Ranch, and the ISOC Amsoil Championship Snocross Series. Racer TV will now feature 52 straight weeks of powersports programming, beginning on Sun., April 17, 2011 on VERSUS.
“Combining properties from four different racing series helps leverage us to an even bigger audience,” says Carrie Coombs, manager of Racer TV. “We’ve increased the episodes and exposure for GNCC, ATV motocross and Loretta’s, as well as the ISOC Snocross series. And the 52-week format means fans can tune in every Sunday and catch great racing.”

Dustin Wimmer Part of New ATV Film [video]
Blake Shipman, one of the premiere ATV/freestyle filmmakers, spent some time with ATV motocross champion Dustin Wimmer to shoot for “Revolutionary,” his new ATV film that will be released this fall.
Shipman loaded a three-and-a-half minute teaser of Wimmer footage on YouTube to whet your appetites for the upcoming main course. Check out the video below the jump
As is always the case with Shipman’s videos, production quality is awesome and Wimmer provides him with plenty of nice ATV MX action. It’s always good to see a pro like Wimmer in action, even if it does make us feel inadequate. Consider us hungry for the final cut!
ATV MX ATVision Motosodes #1 and #2 [video]
ATV racing fans have reason to be happy as MX Sports, producers of the ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Championship presented by Parts Unlimited, announced that ATVision, the show that follows the racing and behind-the-scenes action of each round of the series, has returned. The first two ATVision Motosodes are up and running. You can check them out after the jump.
Motosode #1 highlights racing action from the opening round of the series at Millcreek Raceway in Pell City, Alabama. Motosode #2 New Riders, New Teams, shows an inside look on riders and their new rides, like Suzuki’s Josh Creamer and Can-Am’s Chad Wienen.
Shows are hosted by Jason Weigandt and Krista Watson. We’ll add new episodes to the ATV.com blog as they become available. Check out ATVMotocross.com for more information.
