We're hoping for a speedy recovery

As part of the new Action Figure’s 2 film from the Nitro Circus, Phil Smage attempted to break the world record for longest UTV jump at the Brimestone White Knuckle event over the weekend. Unfortunately, Smage had too much speed and overshot the landing by a huge margin. He was transported via helicopter from the event and later shared this update video (posted below the jump) to his Instagram account.

Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
