Kolpin Outdoors Acquires Handy Throttle

Kolpin adds thumb throttle converter to catalog


Kolpin Outdoors has acquired Handy Throttle, an aftermarket manufacturer of thumb throttle converters that allows riders to switch from a thumb throttle to a twist throttle.

“Handy Throttle thumb converters make the outdoor experience more enjoyable and that’s what Kolpin is all about. This acquisition will help us better meet our consumers’ needs and continues to position Kolpin as the leader in aftermarket accessories,” said Tom Lutes, president and CEO of Kolpin Outdoors.

Handy Throttle will become part of the Kolpin brand under the leadership of Tom Lutes and will be headquartered out of Plymouth, Minnesota. Handy Throttle products will be available through Kolpin starting February 2016.
