Stay connected with new Ride Command App

For 2017, the Polaris RZR lineup features the innovative new Ride Command App, as well as a couple of new models.

New! RIDE COMMAND

Off-road riding is a social experience. Polaris’ research shows a majority of off-road enthusiasts ride with a passenger or in a group. But, the off-road riding experience has barriers. Being strapped into a vehicle with a helmet makes it difficult to communicate with passengers; having multiple gadgets such as a GoPro, GPS and a smart phone is cumbersome; and capturing ride memories to share is challenging — often requiring multiple steps, including getting out of the vehicle, remembering to turn the GoPro on or taking gloves off to use touch interfaces.

What if there was a solution to connect the disconnect? Leading the way in innovation, RIDE COMMAND is a unique solution solving the most common experiential problems with off-road riding. The RIDE COMMAND system includes the RIDE COMMAND app and an intuitive, glove-touch, weather-resistant RIDE COMMAND 7” (17.8-cm.) Display.

2017 Polaris Ride Command Action

Using the RIDE COMMAND app, riders can map rides in advance and transfer waypoints from their phones to the display via Bluetooth. The RIDE COMMAND 7” Display—in tandem with the RIDE COMMAND app — allows the operator to track where their group is without needing to physically see them or hanging in their dust trail. The operator can not only watch their group but also see friends close by. The technology, a first of its kind in off-road, is yet another way for the off-road community to stay in contact with one another, and track and share their ride stats directly to their social feed.

Along with planning and sharing rides or finding friends, RIDE COMMAND also provides seamless device control in one spot. Receive text and call notifications right on the screen for easier viewing. Never miss another epic moment with the ability to control a GoPro right from the display. Jam to favorite tunes either through Bluetooth or AM/FM radio right from the RIDE COMMAND 7” Display. Communicate and hear the thrill of passengers with an accessory Sena headset that is connected seamlessly via Bluetooth. Loading, unloading and traversing obstacles is easier as the display integrates standard front and rear-wired cameras giving the driver more visibility to those hard-to-see spots. RIDE COMMAND not only makes off-roading more enjoyable but easier to share the RZR lifestyle with friends and family.

2017 Polaris Ride Command Point

RIDE COMMAND is available on the RZR XP 1000 EPS Velocity Blue Limited Edition and as an accessory through Polaris Engineered Accessories. The RZR XP 1000 EPS Velocity Blue Limited Edition will come standard with the RIDE COMMAND 7” Display, front and rear cameras, and in-door audio designed specifically for RZR to bring the off-road experience to the next level.

New! RZR XP 1000 EPS Gold Matte Metallic Limited Edition

For even more razor-sharp performance for the trails and rocks, Polaris is introducing the new RZR XP 1000 EPS Gold Matte Metallic Limited Edition. The vehicle offers all of RZR XP’s hallmark performance and versatility to dominate it all including: a 110-horsepower ProStar 1000 H.O. engine, legendary suspension with industry-exclusive Walker Evans Position Sensitive Anti-Bottoming Needle Shocks, unmatched agility, comfortable and convenient interior, and added capability for premium trail riding and rock crawling.

2017 RZR XP 1000 EPS Gold Matte Metallic

The RZR XP 1000 EPS Gold Matte Metallic Limited Edition maintains the trail-ripping high gear found on other RZR XPs but also has an all-new, 55-percent lower low gear and more responsive, low-speed throttle map. The lower gearing and throttle mapping provide more grip and grunt at low speed for overcoming challenging obstacles found on the trail. And, the addition of strengthened front half shafts make for an even more rugged driveline.

The lower gearing and throttle mapping is paired with an all-new, Xtreme-Performance All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system that puts more power to the front wheels, more often, keeping the front wheels pulling at almost the same speed as the rear, for less rear-wheel slippage. The system helps the vehicle dominate twisty trails like it’s riding on rails and helps it crawl obstacles with ease. The RZR XP 1000 EPS Gold Matte Metallic Limited Edition also features a factory installed, premium trail and rock accessory package including: 14-in. (35.6-cm) ProArmor Crawler Beadlock tires; rock sliders, high-clearance, front-control arms and rear radius rods; HMW Skid Plate, front bull bumper with tow hook; 4,500-lb. (2041-kg) Polaris winch; Click-6 harnesses, high-visibility front fender flares; and a rear-view mirror.

The RZR XP 1000 EPS Gold Matte Metallic Limited Edition and RZR XP 1000 EPS Velocity Blue Limited Edition with RIDE COMMAND will join the Special Editions category. Also included in the lineup are the RZR XP 1000 and XP 4 1000 High Lifter Editions in Velocity Blue, which receive the all-new, Xtreme-Performance AWD, low-gearing upgrade and stronger, front half shafts.

New! RZR S 570 EPS

Sport side-by-side for less than $13,000 U.S. With the addition of this model, price-conscious, entry-level consumers now have a choice whether they’re choosing on pure price with the RZR 570, power and comfort with the RZR 900, or a sportier ride and handling with the new RZR S 570 EPS.

2017 Polaris RZR S 570 EPS

The vehicle offers an opportunity for more people to enjoy the RZR experience with a passenger, like the thousands of others who already have RZRs. RZR S 570 EPS owners will enjoy the RZR lifestyle, and with more than 90 available accessories, they can customize their vehicle for all-day comfort and excitement.

The RZR S 570 EPS has a nimble ride and confidence-inspiring handling. The vehicle features a 4-in. (10.16-cm.) longer wheel base and a dual a-arm front and rear suspension with 12.25-in. (31.11-cm.) of travel up front,13.2-in. (33.5-cm.) of travel in the rear, and 12.5-in. (31.75-cm.) of ground clearance. For unmatched agility, the RZR S 570 EPS’ 60-in. (152.4-cm.) width keeps it nimble and stable while the high-performance, true AWD keeps the front wheels pulling stronger and longer, maximizing power delivery to the ground in every condition for a more responsive ride. The standard EPS also keeps the rider in control and ensures the vehicle takes the brunt of what the terrain has to offer.

At the heart of the vehicle is a 45-horsepower ProStar 570 engine, providing plenty of power for the trail. Polaris’ ProStar engines have become the pinnacle of performance, efficiency and durability. Whether traversing tough terrain or cruising down the trail, the reliable ProStar 570 has all the power needed for whatever the trail throws at it.

The RZR S 570 EPS is available in Indy Red and joins the Sport category.
