Seven-time GNCC champ named 2010 Power Women
Traci Cecco, the winningest woman in ATV racing with seven national women’s GNCC titles and many more podium finishes to her credit, has been recognized as a Moves magazine 2010 Power Woman. The Yamaha rider was honored recently at an awards banquet hosted by actor Kelly Washington in New York City as a leader and role model in women’s motorsports.
“Yamaha congratulates Traci on being recognized as a 2010 Power Woman by Moves magazine,” says Steve Nessl, Yamaha ATV/SxS group marketing manager. “Traci is a fierce competitor and a true professional, and we are proud to have her in the Yamaha family. She has elevated women’s ATV racing and continues to be a great role model for anyone in motorsports.”
Traci has competed for the GNCC Women’s Series championship the past 12 years capturing the trophy more years than not and never finishing out of the top three. Year after year she has gained the respect and admiration of fans, fellow racers and sponsors, and this exciting award is another symbol of everything she has accomplished.
