  • Great side-by-side
By john stillwell (I am an Owner) on Nov 28, 2012

Bought the special edition in late October for our ranch in Texas. Like the black and camo. Was worry about the power, but no sweat, its got all the guts you will need. The only problem is my wife and dog letting me use it. Great job Bobcat.

  • Bobcat 3400 Efi 4x4 Special Edition
By Mike Gritten (I am an Owner) on Nov 15, 2012

We have recently purchased a 160 acre property in rural BC, Canada and were looking for a utility vehicle to help with moving, carrying, and hauling whatever around our farm. If it could provide some recreation as well, all the better. We bought our Bobcat 3400 Efi 4x4 at the Kamloops Home Show in ...

After 6 months of ownership I can attest that the Bobcat delivers on all our "wish list" items and does so with ease. We regularly fill the box with heavy firewood after bucking up logs in the forest. We can drive right up to the tree we are working on, fill the box with logs, drive it back to the woodsplitter we have at the house and use the dump feature to unload the wood.

We load it up twice a day with feed, water and hay for our horses, and then use it to carry and dump the manure we pick from the horse paddocks.

When we were fencing, it carried all our tools and supplies, even wooden posts and rails, and carried the fence wire dispenser (spinning jenny) when we were pulling out the high tension fence wire.

We have taken it everywhere on and around our property which is hilly and forested for the most part. It is an awesome machine for exploring, allowing us to go places where any other type of vehicle would be hard pressed to follow us.

In short the Bobcat has been amazing, doing everything we wanted it to and letting us do lots of things we hadn't even thought about before we got it! We would buy the same unit again in a heartbeat. My wife and I love it and find that we almost squabble as to who gets to use it at any given time! It has yet to fail to start, even though it is kept outside and we have had temps around 0*F some mornings.

We took advantage of Bobcat's 0% financing and the dealer has been great, picking our unit up for its initial service and returning it to us the next day - not a trivial item when you live 40 minutes from town!

We strongly recommend that if you have needs like ours, take a good look at the Bobcat 3400 series. You won't be sorry you did.
