Good for a young rider.

I'll start by saying the quad is quite reliable excluding a few bolts falling off or a little trouble in the winter. But it's very very durable, I've only had to replace one part it which was the rear grab bar due to my son's failure of a wheelie. The price on it is pretty damn good too. I bought it... around 2500 last year, you could def get it cheaper now. And the availability of parts and different companies makes it quite easy to upgrade it to a racing quad for a relatively low price. It is decently comfortable quad, but I added new seat and some nerfs and now is perfect comfort. It has the best power of any other 250 I've seen and you can do all the things you want on it minor jumps (bigger with big bore kit and new susp) trails, mudding, wheelies, bicycles. It covers the whole nine yards. But overall it is a great quad for a youngster just starting to get a grip on riding and everything will ride and hold up great for many years. Read Full Review

raptor 250

The raptor 250 is a great bike. I just got one and it is faster than you would exspect from a 250. It is a faster bike and better at motorcross racing than any other 250. It is a good bike for trail riding racing and etc. It clocks out at about 60 to 65mphs. It is about 60 pouds lighter than any of ...the other 250s. It has the same breaks as the 450yfz and the raptor700. It does not have reverse. It is not a bike just for kids it has a noth power to satisfay most people.
