If this car lines up next to you, save yourself the embarrassment and just bug out.

For a while, it seemed like UTVs were starting to take the place of sand cars as a cheaper, more economical means of getting your family out into the dunes. These days, things seem to be working in the opposite direction as a handful of UTVs could probably rival high dollar sand cars in horsepower and overall performance. For example, this insane 435-horsepower machine built by TMW Offroad. The “Hell RAZR” as it’s appropriately titled, features a turbo 4 cylinder Subaru engine, a Mendeola transmission and offers 20 inches of suspension travel. In case you’re wondering, this Hell RAZR is no trailer queen.

Growing up in Oregon, most of Seth's involvement in the powersports world was limited to what he saw in magazines and videos. Following a brief stint in the corporate world, Seth took a flying leap (literally) and moved to California to pursue a career in freestyle motocross. Though short lived, the opportunity immersed him in the industry and is now a well-established off-road writer.
