By Dennis Weinhold (I am a Customer)I ride a lot of 60s and 70s bikes and shopped at Sharer for pieces and parts. I still do, but I miss seeing the new chrome in the showroom. I particularly look for Meridian Triumph parts as I campaigne a Cub at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Lyall has a wealth of info about these bikes but suffers with ... health problems. I hope they can make it in this rough economy. This place will sell you new tires and mount them for less than most and the coffee is free. If you are into building and restoring, you may just run into a kindred soul in the shop on the horse-ranch.Read More

By John Walt (I am a Customer)Perhaps the folks at Sharer should be writing this themselves but I doubt they would care. Why? Because they have a following from m/c enthusiasts to m/c magazine editors. Why toot your own horn. Sharer is a motorcycle shop out of the past. Small, friendly, unassuming and totally into Triumphs and the ... culture. They are found on the grounds of a horse ranch, rather ironic. Unfortunately they have been wounded by the economy and will be a service shop only for the foreseeable future. They will sell limited numbers of used bikes but no more new bikes for now. I truly loved this place because it reminded me of the sixties type shop where customers were expected to come in and hang out just to kick tires and chat. A place with a real history. I will support them by bringing them a restoration project this winter.Read More
