  • Think twice before purchasing this machine!!
By WAYNE MCGHEE (I am an Owner) on Sep 28, 2016

I purchased the Polaris rzr 570 LE brand new on 02-20-2016. I'll start by saying we do alot of riding. I live in the TN mountains and can just jump on it and go. The Polaris runs great, drives awesome and is a lot of fun to ride.

1st problems......After having the RZR for 6 days it ...

2nd problem......The next issue was a rattling noise coming from underneath the machine. So as I pull it in the shop and take the center plastic piece that reveals the drive shaft. It had alot of slop in it and was causing the rattle. The U-joint was worn out!!! So that is another side effect of the engine brake. I'm guessing there not gonna cover this under warranty(I did buy an extended warranty).

3rd problem......So as I was greasing it, and changing the oil and filters I had it jacked up and noticed the rear wheel felt loose. I immediately thought it was the wheel bearing worn out. So I checked the rest of them and all 4 were loose. I pulled the left rear hub off and the ball bearings fell out on the shop floor. The bearings were dry as the could be. They didn't have a spec of grease on them. I have read in several forums about people having to replace the bearings after a thousand miles or so in all different kinds of Polaris. I don't care what kind of riding you do or what anybody tries to tell you. The wheel bearings should last 3 or 4 times or 10 times longer than these have.

I'll finish by saying that I have not abused this machine and I don't mud with it. I avoid mud if at all possible. I have 2 other 4 wheelers, one a 1990 model and the other a 2003 model. The 2003 model has over 9000 miles on it. And no telling about the 1990 model. I won't state the make here but the 2003 has every original parts on it but the tires.

But I highly highly HIGHLY recommend to look for another brand. I have 0ver 12,000 dollars in this thing and its not worth half that in my opinion. Polaris builds these to wear out prematurely. When I was buying this The dealer told me he doesn't make hardly anything off the sale of a new Polaris, that they made their money off of service and parts. I wish I would have realized what he was saying and ran as fast I could. If you're gonna ride one once a month or just put around on it and treat it like a golf cart it will probably be fine. But if you ride much and get it out of the yard I would suggest getting something else. A bicycle would be better than what I have.
