So far I have trouble believing how awesome this machine is!
By ATVfan (I am an Owner) on Oct 01, 2011This is my third atv and first polaris. I was leery of the brand after hearing so many people bash it without mercy. The price was right at the local dealer and what you get for your $$$ was unmatched by the competition. I am very hard to please when it comes to equipment but this atv has exceeded ... my high expectations. I'm 6'4" and 275lbs and the machine fits like a glove, the eps feels just right and the 850 power doesn't quit. Time will tell if reliablility will be an issue but for now (only 300km) it has been perfect. I've had several buddies with multiple machines under their belts take it for a spin and it gets "WOW" everytime!

Orange Madness
By Rick (I am an Owner) on Nov 13, 2010The 2011 Polaris 850 XP Orange Madness is just that...Madness.....
It seems like you have endless power, the throtle responsiveness is unmatched compared to some of the others on the market today. I have tested a few, before I decided to buy the Polaris. I am 280 lbs and this machine fits the ... large man perfectly. i did also buy the Tatou 4s tracks with it, all I have to say is that this machine goes anywhere. I took this machine into some logging areas that even I wouldn't want to walk in. Through swamps that large tree cutting machines had left huge ruts full of water that I crossed over with ease. I went into swamps and walked right through the floating grass and when I felt a little sinking I hit the throtle and jumped right out. This machine handles like a dream with the electronic power steering and independant rear suspention, The (you guys might have to help me out here) downhill grade transmission is awsem I tested it the first time out on a large hill with my daughter sitting on the back without touching the trotle at all I slowly coasted down the steep grade with no worries.
Worth every penny!
