Have 3 of them
By Gerry Karpen (I am an Owner) on Apr 09, 2019We originally bought a new one in 2009 and liked it so well we went back and bought 2 more (one for my father-in-law). Last year we bought yet another one as the family is growing. Ours are ridden easily but have been fantastic. They do not do well in mud and snow but after all they are just a 4x2. ... They are perfect for a hobbyist style rider. We have replaced one battery so far and a knob and switch here and there. I don't care for the newest one as much with the different style carb than the others. It's harder to start when cold and has a very bothersome high idle when the choke is on.

By Doug (I am an Owner) on Feb 26, 2017I picked up a 2007 DVX 250 in perfect shape for $500
New air box , k&n filter, GPR exhaust and re jetted carb.
Now it's a screamer!

Good Machine
By Eric Schoenhardt (I am an Owner) on Jun 26, 2016I also don't know what people are talking about when they say it has issues. we have owned ours for 8 years now and never had to put one part on it. It always starts up and is great on gas. I wish it was a little quicker but is a nice family atv.

Honest opinion
By Rob (I am an Owner) on Nov 22, 2013I have had this thing since it was new and I have taken it to hell and back. I don't know what people are talking about when they say always having to work on it or it can't go threw mud. I have had it since it was new and the only thing I have had to do to it was clean the carb swap the drive shaft ... and replace the chain like 3 times and that's all cause of my stupidity. Not the quads faults. And I have taken it threw mud up to the seat and it pulled out and ran fine. This is amazing all year round snow grass mud or sand or whatever it performs great. I love it. But price I would put it at around 2500-3000 not what it says. The only bad thing I find about the one I have is it has had battery problems in the past. But that's about it.

Not the Greatest ATV
By Harry C (I am an Owner) on May 03, 2013Bought new in 2006 for $3750 - expensive. It has had a lot of repair issues. Now it won't start......again! If I had it to do over, I would get something else.

Fun little Quad
By Terry (I am an Owner) on Sep 09, 2012I bought my 2006 a couple months ago used in excelent shape. It isn't a speed demon but I am impressed with it. Stock it will hit 50-55 mph. It's a 250cc if you want more buy a bigger machine.I thing the exhaust sounds good. I have haven't had any problems ,starts well and runs top. it is a bit narrow, ... so it can be a bit squirly. My other quad is a 2012 Sportsman 800 I love the power it has and the smooth ride, but I still take out the DVX 250 very often. I am 41 years old and though the Dvx is a bit stiff in the suspention I enjoy the machine.

pile of shit
By Nic Hook (I am an Owner) on May 24, 2012this quad has no power breaks easily and always needs repairs. it cant go through any kind of mud or water it immediately stalls. suspension so stiff it hurts to land if you can even get any air, heavier than 2 of our Honda's it is impossible to pick up. not easy to adjust any thing sounds like crap ... chain has broken 3 times, back brakes don't work any more and we have tried to fix them countless times. i hope my review was helpful as to turn you to a different brand of sport quad.

to much money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By daniel miller (I am a Writer) on Jun 17, 2009This fourwheeler is a great fourwheeler but it is to much money for how old it is.I think it should be a little cheaper for people would buy them. The sport fourwheelers are just to much the utility is cheaper i think the utility should be more exspensive then the sports.Somebody nees to make a change ... or alot more people wont buy sports. But forget about wat i said overall this is a great fourwheeler.
