2012 Arctic Cat Prowler 700i H1 EFI HDX 4x4

My 2012 Arctic Cat Prowler HDX 700 is a beast! I have had 4 trips to the mountains on hunting trips and this machine more than pulled its weight! It was regularly loaded down with gear and every trip carried full moose and caribou over off-road terrain. I did upgrade my tires to Pit Bulls and ... installed the full aluminum skid plate, which was a must in the terrain I was travelling in.

the first year i had my prowler i replaced three axles both front shocks ,drive belt,and the rear end broke loose from frame nothing was covered under warranty go figure Arctic cat does not back there product never had this problem with honda

We purchased our Artic Cat Prowler in November and with only having 300 miles the whole rear end twisted and broke the frame. A bolt sneered in the rear end and twisted it causing it to break the frame. The dealership Princeton Powersports in WV would not even discuss fixing it for us. Stating that ... it wouldn't be covered under warranty. With that being said 2 1/2 months later and with an Attorney a local dealer replaced the entire frame with Artic Cat covering it with the warranty. Princeton Powersports is a useless dealership. I will never purchase anything ever again from them or would I recommended them to anyone. Very upset with the quality of the prowler.

Bought a 2012 demo with 22km on it had it two weeks and the gauge already burnt out and the rear axle seal leaks a bit of gear oil. The dealer tells me warranty will cover it. I am hoping so it only has 60km on it now!!!!

I purchased a 2012 HDX in late August of 2012. I purchased a Cab, winch, Arctic Cat tracks, Heater and rear seat also. I drove the machine for about 300 miles with the tires on. Very light use just on the roads. In December the dealer put on the Arctic Cat tracks and the first thing that happened ... the drive belt broke in low range coming down hill on a snowpacked road. Little did I know that its a four hour job for a certified Arctic Cat mechanic to replace the belt. 650 dollars and a week later were back in business. Next were coming down the same snow packed road and the drive sprocket on the tracks falls off four bolts and a week later were back in business. Next were coming down the same snow packed road and the nut comes off the rear spindle, wraps the track assembly under the machine bends the brake disc, ruins the caliper, spindle, nut and axle. Two weeks later were back in business. Of cource were denied warranty from arctic cat I have not seen the bill yet. Next were coming down the same snow packed road and the machine seems to be handling funny. We get out and look things over and both A arms have broke. Once again its going on 2 weeks with no parts, no warranty and no service. I called Arctic Cat customer hot line and was told pretty much to pound sand that I was rude and it was not there concern. I will be selling my Arctic Cat Prowler as soon as I get it repaired. I do not recommend this product or this company in any way shape or form.

this vehicle has lots of good things to offer like power steering, bench seat, big cargo box, nice looking but man, i got lousy service from the dealer and found that it was not the tough vehicle i was led to believe. any water and it's broke. wore out 3 drive belts and a fan when just by revving ... in park-no body told me that until the third one.

would not buy another or recommend it to anyone.

I PURCHASED MY PROWLER IN JAN 2012 ON A FRIDAY SATURDAY ME AND A FRIEND WENT FOR A RIDE HE WAS ON A RHINO WE RODE ABOUT 2 HOURS NOTHING MAJOR WENT HOME PARKED SUNDAY GOT UP TO RIDE IT WAS SKIPPING AND SPUTTERING TOOK BACK TO DEALER THEY KEEP IT 3 WEEKS PICKED IT UP KEEP IT 7 DAYS IT QUIT PULLING ... TOOK BACK THEY KEEP IT 26 DAYS SAID THE BELT AND CLUTCHES WERE BURNT UP CHARGED ME 900 DOLLARS SAID IT HAD BEEN IN MUD AND WATER KEEP IT 3 WEEKS WENT FOR A RIDE IN TENN WOULD NOT START TOOK BACK TO DEALER THEY SAID STARTER WAS GONE AND DISPLAY SCREEN WON'T TO CHARGE ME 600 DOLLARS I AM TRYING TO GET OUT FROM UNDER THIS JUNK IT STAYS BROKE DOWN TO MUCH WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ARCTIC CAT TO MY WORST ENEMY. DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ARCTIC CAT RUN RUN RUN!!!
