Totally usless unit /dealer/ parent company
By Harry Courtis (I am an Owner) on Dec 30, 2017Bought this unit new from my local dealer. Won't start below 50 degrees. Brought it to my dealer on numerous occasions and they blamed fuel and operator. Very unprofessional service department. Talked to the dealer manager and he did nothing to rectify the problem. Next contacted the company with ... even less satisfaction. I've had 3 previous Yamaha machines which 2 were stolen. I still have this machine I guess because the crooks don't even want it. Sad.....sad.... sad....

Artic Cat is Horrible , Do Not Buy One
By Tom Tennessee (I am an Owner) on Feb 11, 2016Bought a new 2009 Artic Cat 366 4x4 and it now has 23 hours on it 7- years later. It has been garage kept since purchase. I went through seven batteries before replacing the starter six-months ago. The new started came with a smaller gear that allowed it to start easier. It seems Artic Cat found ... the issue and never did a recall to fix their mistake. Spend $400+, then the carburetor started leaking. I had to rework carburetor and replace gas tank, another $400+. Now the unit will not run over 20 mph and will not pull my hill. Artic Cat said to get dealer to be advocate and have unit replaced. No luck there, going to sell or trade and never ever buy another Artic Cat. Company will not stand behind their products. My unit has never or operated correctly. Very disappointing.

horrible durability
By joe (I am an Owner) on Nov 05, 2012Purchased new in 2009 with only 750 miles on it to this point. It's in the shop more than on the ranch. Carburetor is recurrently overflowing; I've had to replace the carburetor needle 3 times. Dealer keeps blaming the gas but this is ridiculous. In hot weather it won't shift into low, in cold ... weather it won't shift into reverse. Now the oil cooler fan isn't working.

Most bang for your buck
By Thib (I am an Owner) on Sep 06, 2010After doing much research, I decided to go with the cat. It runs great as is but, stock is never good enough for me. After a little tuning on the carb this thing turned into a lion. Disc brakes front and back, stainless brake lines, independent rear suspension, digital gauge, and a 4 valve head design, ... all for around $5k. Who can beat that? I just wish the front rack was geared to carry instead of look good. That's my only complaint.

Good Machine
By Steve (I am an Owner) on Jul 17, 2010Had the machine for about a year now and it has held up well. The engine runs perfect no problems through summer and winter. It could use better linkage with the gear shifter it has trouble with engaging and disengaging especially on hills. In the first few months the fuel drain bulb leaked due ... to a stuck float. Flushed it and no problems since. I also attached a drain tube because if it leaks again it will drain on the hot motor. Had it in water half way up with no problems in CVT slippage. This machine is exactly what I wanted, midsized utility with low gears and a hitch with lots of optional attachments. I trail ride with my kids and they love it- better than video games which is why I got it!

Arctic Cat 366
By John Luke (I am an Owner) on May 13, 2009this is one great mid-sized atv. i bought one about a year ago, and it has been bullet proof. My son has ran it through every mud hole in the state. It has hauled deer out of the woods and a 5x10 trailer with firewood out of the river bottoms. it has done more than its share. Best atv I have ever ... purchased, previous to this I had Hondas and Yamahas and none could match this little Arctic Cat 366. Transmission is smooth and never gives us any problems and I am running 27" ITP tires with no problem. All I have had to do is put gas in this fine machine.
