2013 maverick xrs
By Jesse hinkle (I am an Owner) on Oct 23, 2017Motor wise the rotax will take u anywhere you wanna go. Plenty of power in any situation. The suspension is pretty good for stock form. It is a little ruff on the low speed bumps but soaks up at high speed fairly well. The brakes are also very good. The lack of power steering was a horrible idea. ... Bump steer is very noticeable. The factory rack wears out quickly. Shock bushings are always squeaking if not lubricated before and after every ride. The visco lock front diff is effective but a locking option would have been much more effective. Engine noise inside cab is a little excessive but not much u can do about it. Cup holders are great for heating up soup for a trail side snack. Cab heat on a hot day is also excessive. A fan overide will help. Radiator seems to be clogged easily if driven in a lot of mud and will over heat quickly. Seats are comfortable. Left leg rest in floorboard could be a couple more inches farther out. Unjoints must be greased very frequently to keep from wearing them out quickly. All in all it has been a very good machine. As long as maintenance is kept up it would provide you many years of good service.

Awesome machine!
By Tom Arnold (I am an Owner) on Jun 05, 2017The 2013 Can Am Maverick is an amazing UTV. It boasts plenty of power to get you througb almost any obstacle. The belt last a long time....you just have to know that you keep it low all the time and only run in high if you are free wheeling at speed on easy surfaces. If you try to run through the ... mud, climbing hills, or pulling things in high range, yiu will burn up the belt quickly so you just need to know how to run it properly and the belt will last a long time. Very happy with mine and was very impressed with the complete package. A+

WARNING!!!!!!! Caution Buying a CAN AM WARNING!!!!!!!!
By Vernon Londagin (I am an Owner) on Mar 05, 2014I purchased a brand new CAN AM with 0 miles on it. I have had the luxury of driving it twice and have only put 37 miles on the unit. During my day of riding only 1.5 hours into it stopped moving. I took it to the shop to find out what was wrong and was informed that it was the belt. I was also informed ... that this is not a warranty item and that I would have to pay for it. I disagreed with them on this since I only have 37 miles on the unit. They sent the warranty paperwork off to BRP and they denied my claim because they said that there was mud underneath my unit. Well NO KIDDING it's an ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE. If they don't want us taking them off road then they need to make this street legal and I assure you people won't be buying them anymore. I am still waiting to hear back from a supervisor at BRP to see if the will cover the repairs and cost due to the very minimal miles on the unit. So my "WARNING" TO EVERYONE IS TO TRULY CONSIDER YOUR OPTIONS BEFORE BUYING A CAN AM. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY CRAPPY AND DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THE CUSTOMER IN MIND. If you want to spend 25K on something that you can have some good fun it buy a JEEP and get muddy. Also, I think that they CAN AM should have to take down every picture they have out there with any of their ATV/UTV's going through the mud because as I was told they would not cover me under warranty do to the mud underneath my unit.

Can-am 1000 X rs review
By Anthony Dragonetti (I am an Enthusiast) on Mar 02, 2013This machine looks great, with its upgraded rims and suspension, you cannot go wrong with buying this. With its 4WD diff lock, you can go anywhere with the X rs. Any terrain is no match for this beast. It's 101 HP is the best of the best. This is a class leading machine, not even Yamaha could make ... a better machine, Can-am is the leader of the market, and could keep that title if they keep up the good work. A flaw, however is the price, I think the price is too much for only a v-twin engine.
