2009 Cub Cadet Volunteer™ 4x4 EFI Camo

I have owned my Volunteer for over a year. I am very impressed with the toughness and performance. I have a very steep mountain with logging roads and wild woods. My cub has not let me down. My family and friends are very impressed. I have gone twice where ATVs could not follow! The wide wheel base ... and low center of gravity gives the volunteer better stability and goes over worse gullies than any ATV. It has power to spare! We are very satisfied and recommend it for any job where speed (32 mph) is not the need.

I also have a Kolpin 3 pt hitch with chisel plow and blade. Very cool mountain tractor.

I was in the market for a side by side and began comparing all available models. When I got to Cub Cadet I was told by the regional sales manager that there was a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty (witnessed by store employee). WRONG! I have had the thing for one year and have spent over $2,000.00 ... dollars on the parts that weren't covered. This thing is in the shop more than on the road. Sure, I've tried calling the main office and keep getting transfered to someone who puts me on hold while waiting for someone to talk to, or I get a voice mailbox to someone who never calls me back. I would not recommend the cub cadet volunteer to a scrap metal collector. So now I'm stuck with a side by side (that is presently in the shop) because I wouldn't sell this thing and have the reputation that cub cadet apparently has.
