Think twice.
By PF (I am an Owner) on Oct 15, 2020Let's see, I worked on these machines where we sold them. I had one as a show model that I drove around town in with all the advertising and phone numbers all over the body.
IT NEVER SAW DIRT ONCE!
But- 5 broken rear axles, 2 right 3 left, ( both street and dirt tires),
one mid ... to rear drive shaft strip out and cracked park brake shaft hub,
entire exhaust system burned out,
carburetor replaced,
regulator burned a hole in its case,
two bad batteries,
coolant change as mechanic said it ran too hot from the factory,
Inspections and oil change per the book WITH HISUN OIL,
Barely get 35mph. Replaced ignition module AND main computer got 40 mph but that burned out the exhaust. Multiple spark temps tried with no joy.
Multiple front welds cracking ( again only street use in small city- 10 miles average per day max. Never felt dirt!)
Not for the serious rider. THEY DRIVE LOUD!!!!
Street legal here in Utah. They came street legal, they advertised street legal, but NEVER SAID A LOCKED REAR END MODEL WAS NUTS ON THE STREET! I was told it didn't matter but might be stiff on the turns.
Final got my greatest reward. After only three years of use and JUST AFTER AN OIL CHANGE, the rod goes through the rear housing. No banging, thumping, binding, clicking, chirping or an indication of impending doom.........pressed the gas and the rod was the only thing that went forward.
It looked great with the full cab and a plow. But it should have the life a 750 of any other maker would have. 10-15 years?
Now I have payments on a machine that will cost 75% of what I still owe on the loan to get a USED engine.
It ran great when it ran. It ran LOUD when it ran ( brand new also). It ran funny when one axel broke and you hit the gas or brakes.
BUT MOSTLY IT SAT WAITINGVTO BE FIXED. Now it sits waiting for a used or rebuilt engine to appear. Money well spent on teaching me to look harder at what I buy.

Hisun 750
By Charlie Swearingen () on Apr 02, 2020When I read the previous review by Pat Rogers I felt bad for him. However, I purchased my Hisun Sector 750 in 2016 and it has run great ever since and it has performed admirably. Not only that, but my dealer is only an hour away and I have never had a problem getting parts, or service.
I ... live in Idaho and in the middle of great backcountry with miles of rough roads & trails. I've put hundreds of hours and thousands of miles on my Hisun and it will climb a cow's face. Anyway, happily for me I have had just the opposite experience as the first review...

Problems and dangerous.
By Mark Godfrey (I am an Owner) on Jun 08, 2017Believe me, I would like to have a low priced UTV that was dependable but so far my experience with the Hisun sector has been anything but. So far we have had the following problems in six months of ownership. The first was a bad injector with 5.5 miles on the machine. 3 weeks for parts and finally ... the dealer just took one off one of his other machines. Next was a simple stick through the floorboard. The next was the bolts fell out of the muffler which allowed the hot muffler to drop down on the plastic around it. Needless to say the plastic was melted. The machine also stuck in 4 wheel drive on the trail one day. Only after rocking the machine on level ground could we get it back in 2 wheel operation. The next was the bracket holding the front sway bay just came completely off. The most critical and dangerous is the non functioning and as far as we can see and non adjustable parking brake. This is very dangerous as this is the only way we can figure to stop the heavy machine from rolling on the slightest incline. We have tried to contact the company and not heard back from them. As of now we carry a block of wood on a rope and throw it in front of a wheel to stop it from rolling over one of us. If they don't get this fixed I am sure someone is going to get seriously hurt or even killed.
