piece of junk
By Joshua Saulnier (I am an Owner) on Jan 19, 2018this machine is junk, stay far away from it as you can, tell your friend not to buy into its looks and power its not worth it. I bought my scrambler 850 brand new in janurary of 2014. Ever since its been in and out of the dealershit, im fed up with them as i am with polaris...1st it was the TPS that ... was faulty, after tunning the damn thing 3 times they finaly admited that a faulty TPS shouldnt be adjusted but replaced altogether, took 2 yrs to resolve this. After this was resolved the timing gear, which is pressed on i might add, decided to slip on the crank shaft, made the timing chain jump and basicaly fucked the whole motor. I have the bike and the motor all taken apart in the garage and im estimating probly over 2000$ in parts. now after contacting polaris to see if theyve heard of this and if they would cover parts, they told me they cant do jack without bringing it to a certified dealer. I told them no way i was bringing it to the dealership to pay 140$/h of labor for something i can do. so long story short they wont do fuckall for me. FUCKYOU Polaris. Poor performance, poor engine design, poor customer service.

My new girlfriend.
By Mathew forster (I am an Owner) on Oct 07, 2016As of this review ive had my scrambler for about 5 months and have put just about 800 miles on it. Ive ridden dirt bikes and sport quads since I could walk and hopefully will be riding until Im dead. But as I get older and fatter my tastes have started to lean towards comfort and power, but still ... have the ability to do sport riding. So having had nothing but positive experiences with popo's over the years i set my sights on the new scrambler. This ATV meets every one of my needs. All the power I could want, cadillac comfortable, handles like something half its size and no more clutch. The scrambler is for riders who want wicked power with abilty to go nearly anywhere as fast your willing to go. If you're looking to hit jumps stick with sport quads and if youre out to find a 4x4 to go on long journeys with also dont buy the scrambler as its large displacement gets it about 50 miles per tank(of hardcore riding). Its been through many long grueling events with my fat ass on it and hasnt shown any signs of breaking yet. Im in the process now of making it officially race ready so I can start doing national XC events that happen near me. So all in all for me its been worth every penny and i would definitely recommend it if youre into my type of riding.
